So just bought this '82 4x4. It wasn't running due to the carburetor, so I decided to start off on the right foot and buy a weber 32/36 dgev. Hooked it all up and fired up first try . However, now I'm faced with removing all the old emissions stuff that I no longer need. I was just going to take everything off that doesn't touch the carb anymore off but I don't know what I need to pass emissions here in Arizona. Another thing, I really don't know anything about tuning a carburetor so some help on that would be awesome. It's idling high, I know that much. I also think its running a little rich, due to the small amount of white smoke coming out of the tailpipe. I'll post some pictures soon. Thanks in advance.
