i wanna do a tranny swap from my 5 speed to an automatic. do i need to change out the wiring harness and computer ect.? how do i go about this ? any help will be appreciated.

as fasr as i know, you will. The transmission is electronically controlled , which is why they ask if its a manual or auto when you need things like an ecu. so i would guess wiring harness, ecu, and trans.

or just get an automatic truck.

ha ha , naw man, its just since im gonna keep the truck now ,i dont have much room for three pedals with my fire wall tubbed for 20s, so i would like to switch it o auto. plus i have some big ass border hopping feet !

ecu needs to be changed but harness should have plug-ins on it for auto

Just put my pedals in it. If I can fit my bigass feet in my truck comfortable with three pedals then I know you can. I'm sure you could get them...
If you can find it cheaper, I can fix it.

im still trying, but ive made 2 sets, and each one is still not the way i want them to be

Have you tried a gas pedal like mine? That freed up a ton of room.
If you can find it cheaper, I can fix it.
