I am after some info to convert my 82 Toyota front clip to the early 80 model

I know I could have fired a PM over to you Seth but I figured I may aswel start a thread for all to see





Ive previously complete the full 4runner front clip swap on my other truck (incl rad support swap)

Whats involved with going to the older model front?

I have the early grill allready, with that fit my new rad panel?

And is it only a matter of minor trimming to fit the rounded head lights? Also will the 80 head light surround fit the 82 rad panel?

Everything will bolt up. I have an 83 core support on my truck, since mine was smashed. On the driver side you will have to use a nut and bolt to attach the headlight housing, because it is not tapped. But you will need the head light housing, and surrounds from the 79-81 trucks. But everything is completely bolt on, even the 1-piece bumper.
