How did everyone shve there cowl? I think welding would be to much and warp it bad even if you use some copper heatsinks and skipped around, Want to shave the vents off of mine was thinking about glassing the underside and either layings some glass in the vents and then sanding or laying glass on the back side and fill the voids with resin and hardener

Cut it out and weld in a plate.

I have thought about that as well but that seems like a lot of welding on something that is thin??? I'm going to go to the yard and get a couple and try it out
What sucks is that Grant Customs used to make them but not any more

Its good quality stuff. I have had my cowl sitting here for about 6mos, waiting to be put in.
