ok, maybe it's just my luck, but changing headlights should be this damn hard. so i take the corner lights out, then attempt to take the grille out, WHAT A BITCH this is. ive been fighting these frigging clips for about 20 minutes and am now taking a break. when the break is done im going back out to take the bumper off just to get the grille out, just to change the damn headlights. whew... sorry had to vent, anyone else go through this much crap?

lmao its not that hard..im not mechanically inclined and i can do it...at least on my 88 all you have to do is get a philip, take out the screws, use the phillip to open up the clips, pull the grill a lil as you loosen the clips..one at a time and voila, your grill is off, unloosen the top two screws holding in your headlight( you can take all four screws out if you want) then swap out your headlights..

yeah, my bumper is a lil banged up into my grille so i think that's what is causing most of my problems.. well im going back out to see if i can break some shtuff

so it was the bumper, thing was tweeked a bit too much, once i dropped it the grille fell off and headlights were a snap... now i get to go buy the new 4runner bumper ive been waiting to get this weekend.. WOOHOO!
