thats what i thought damn looks good im getting some ideas on cleaning up my blow-thru and thanks to a recent break in a week ago i can build a new box.
were you born stupid or did you convert?

yah... i know exactly what im doin for a system now. what is securing the boot to the box exactly? i can imagine the boot clips on like weatherstripping to the truck...correct? just wondering about the box.

The only thing between the boot and box is silicone to seal the gaps and weatherproof it. You are correct on how the boot mounts. The box is mounted down to the bed.

Thanks! The front speakers are goin in this weekend so I haven't tested the 400-2 yet, but the 500-1bd rails! Its rated 500x1 @ 1 ohm, the birth chart said it tested at 698x1 @ 1 ohm. The 400-2 is rated at 100x2 @ 4 ohm and its chart says it tested 150x2 @ 4 ohm.

Very nice bro, always liked blowthroughs just never fit what I was going for with any of my vehicles, Very nice job though, cant wait to see it done

System is done except for some little things. The top half will be covered in the grey tweed as soon as I get billet grab handles and window cranks. And there will be a JL logo in blue plexi on the back part where you see the wood showing in the blue.

Now that the system is goin, I've had a chance to listen to a variety of music. The clarity is fantastic, its very clean at all volumes but boomy when I want to be. I'm entering a sound competition at the end of May, I'll let you know how it does and what SPL score I hit.
