im ordering my thorley header and im not sure which exhaust to go with ,ive heard that magnaflow and flowmaster is good,i dont want to sound like a ricer and i kno i aint gunna sound like no v8 but i want it to sound deep and suggestions?

I've got a Magnaflow polished stainless muffler and hi-flow catalytic converter. I haven't heard mine run, but XS-TOY has the same header/cat/muffler setup and sounds mean as hell.

I have a flowmaster....and it doesn't sound like a ricer.

What is the height on that muffler? I need to put exhaust on my truck rockin it with no exhaust, Mike has heard it retarded loud

i vote magnaflow. have that backed with a downey header and 2 1/2in. piping all the way out the back...... sounds mean but not rice.

while the flowmaster 40series doesnt sound ricer..i'd try a 50 or 60series IF i were to go back with flowmaster cuz as a daily u kinda get tired of hearing the loudness...i would consider magnaflow

got mine from LCE. they welded the flanges on and had the ends ceramic coated.

i have a magnaflow on my toyota with a tri-y throley header with a high flow cat, its sounds good, im happy with it. i used 2.5" exhaust but im thinking of reducing it to 2.25 or 2 to see if i can get a little more low end out of it.

I always use lce header and 2.25 with a flowmaster..but I don't need a cat out here
