im to the point where i need to start on the exhaust.. im going to redo the whole thing from my lc engineering header all the way back. what kind of mufflers do some of you have. hows the sound. what would you do different? im looking not for that loud ricey sound even though it is a 4cyl. im looking into a flowmaster 80 series then going dual out and dumping out through the rear wheel opening because of my lack of space

heres as far as i have gotten.
lc header, two custom connector pipes, lc highflow cat bolted directly to Magnaflow stainless muffler, then another custom connector. from there its gonna be one bent piece to go over the frame and dump infront of the tire.

Ive got a 40 series Flowmaster muffler & a free flow cat. Ive got it all tucked
above the frame & it comes out in front on the rear tire. Its got a deep tone
& to be honest Its not loud at all in the truck! I just ordered a header so tha
will increase the sound some, but I dont think it will be bad at all.

I just put Flowmaster's super 44 muffler on and it sounds almost like running open headers.

downey header (same as lce) 2.5 pipe to a magnaflow dumped all the way back to stock exit. sounds all business. no rice.

i used to do flowmasters but honestly, the magnaflow is just waaaay better sounding and less annoying on highway speeds. i am now a magnaflow person.
