has anyone applied a 5.0 liter to a toyota pickup? either 302 or 351? curious to know how things worked with that..... lemme know

Actually the sbf is your better choice for the v8 conversion. The toyota has a narrow frame rail and small engine compartment. The sbf has a narrower bottom and the distributor placement in the front would make it an idea candidate over the often used because its cheap sbc. You may have to watch the 351w as far as height goes, they are a little taller than 302 blocks.

check out my garage.. I know it's a ranger but it has a toy front clip with a 5.0
