you'll need a manual steering gear box.

pretty much. if memory serves, you can ditch the whole bracket its mounted to also. you may have to get a couple shorter timing cover bolts tho. you can also use a single belt pulley on the harmonic balancer!!!

why are you ditching this stuff?

can i just take all the damn lines off of it and keep it opened at the top where those 2 lines go in?
and just not turn the AC switch to on??
or is this bad?
i have the damn thing off the truck right now, but i dont know what size belt i would need to go on the harmonic balancer, and the little pulley just sitting out there now.. lol
Google that shit

bingo. you only need one belt. that runs the waterpump/alternator.

You dont have to have a manuel steering box if you want to go on the cheap you can get a small resvoir and put a little fuid in it and then 2 lines from the box to the resvoir and mount it on the core support and it may be a little easier than a manuel box steering effort wise

You could also fab up a hard line and loop them together but you want to take the lines off turn the wheel side to side to get some excess fluid out and then hook up the loop, You dont want the box full when you loop it cause it will be pretty much like no belt on your pump
