manual to auto trans swap

will a later model toyota (84-95) auto trans bolt up to my 79 20R? what all is involved in the swap? are the later trannys floor shift or column shift? Any help is greatly appreciated. later...

I think this is possible if Im thinking right....my only sugestion is doing a floor mount auto and not a coloum shift....I think the bolt pattern remained the same on the 20r and the 22r my only not knowing is if the tranny tunnel would work because Im thinking the auto tranny is larger than the manual.

I did some research and found out that the 81-83 trucks came with an optional auto tranny. now the hard thing is to find the trans and all the other crap to go with it.
