They treated me good, about a week to get the alternator. The price was really good too. Powermaster and Mean Green alternators are around $380+. If I remember right I got my 140amp for $210

I just had mine bumped up while i had it apart to have the case powdercoated. local alternator/starter shops should be able to do it for around 100 bucks. mine was 65$ to bump it up to around 130 amps.

I dont have an ebay account or i would :/. Thanks everybody, also, if running alot of stuff off one battery: compressors, sound system, etc what ampage should i need to stay over or at when purchasing a new alternator? Just so im not overdoing it but i have plenty of charge to keep it all going good with no sputter or anything with the new alternator?

-Thanks :o

Oh yeah one more question i forgot to ask, the alternator i have now is the stock toyota one that was originally on the truck, just wondering do i need to change anything else out when upgrading or getting a higher output alternator? like the ignition or starter or anything like that?

-Thanks again for the help

Like anything that is higher output something will be the weak link. You can upgrade the wiring, 4guage or thicker is better. May want to upgrade the wiring coming from the alternator and yo may think about a 2 battery setup, just a thought.

you have a link to something where i can read into the double battery setup? I was thinking about that myself on and off. I'd have to run two alternators right?

no you wont have to run 2 alternators. you might look at the stock alt. that came in a 4 runner and see if it has a higher amperage then yours. that way it will bolt in and be factory..
